Looks pretty good. Got a few nitpicks - the shotgun hand doesn't lock in place and easily falls out if someone picks it up and turns it the right way (wrong way? ). Don't want to glue it, but might have to. The light kinda shows through the side of the head in a dark room (not terrible but could have been avoided). Finally, the shotgun is slightly warped, and I have to assume they are all like that.

Now for the Joyride Studios letdown. I'm a fan of American Chopper: The Series and have been looking forward to the scale Theme Bike replicas. I found the smaller ones (1:18 scale) at Hot Topic ($8.99 - ouch) and was not impressed. Some of them look OK, but not great. The Comanche one looks like crap.

The Fire Bike is probably the best, but has a bad flaw - there's a flash point on the outside of the muffler. Since the muffler is chromed it really sticks out - they all look scuffed. It was bad enough for me to pass on buying it.

Maybe my expectations were just too high for the small versions. I hope the 1:10 scale ones turn out better.

For anyone interested, the 1:18s I saw were: Fire Bike, Comanche, Black Widow, Jet Bike, T-rex Softail, and one of the custom Rigids.

I was really hoping those were gonna come out good.

They should have let Muscle Machines make them... the West Coast Choppers they made friggin' ROCK.

Picked up the spider bike. It was good not great - for example, the wheel hubs were solid instead of cut through like on the real bike. But for $5.99 at TRU, not bad.
